How to Measure a Kimono Jacket

1. Length (L)

  • Lay the kimono flat on a surface.

  • Measure from the middle point of the neck straight down to the bottom hem.

2. Shoulder Width (S)

  • Lay the kimono flat with the front facing up.

  • Measure straight across from one shoulder seam to the other, at the top.

3. Armhole (A)

  • Measure along the curve of the armhole opening from the shoulder seam down to the underarm seam.
